Lumiray is a circadian wellness app powered by Circadiax. We help you align your daily habits with your body's natural rhythm using real local sunrise, sunset, and solar data. We are based in Maryland, United States.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
Profile information: Your first name, wake and sleep times, chronotype, schedule type, and your chosen morning and evening anchors.
Location: Your precise device coordinates (latitude and longitude) and the city or place name derived from them, used to calculate your local solar times and current weather conditions.
Account information: Your email address, used for signing in.
Usage data: Your ritual completions, recovery check-in ratings, and streak history.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your coordinates are used to fetch solar, UV, and weather data and to display your local place name (see Section 5 for the specific services involved).
Your profile and preferences are used to personalize your daily rhythm guidance.
Your usage data (completions, recovery ratings, streaks) is used to track your progress and, if you have weekly reports enabled, to generate a personalized weekly rhythm summary.
We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
4. What We Do Not Do
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not share your data with advertisers.
We do not use tracking pixels or advertising SDKs.
We do not access your camera, microphone, or contacts.
5. Third-Party Services
To provide core features, your data is shared with the following services. Where coordinates are sent, they are your precise latitude and longitude:
Open-Meteo — Receives your coordinates to provide solar, UV, and weather data, and receives city-name text when you search for a location. privacy policy
WeatherAPI.com — Receives your coordinates to provide current weather conditions. privacy policy
OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) — Receives your coordinates to convert them into a readable place name (e.g., your city and state). privacy policy
Anthropic (Claude API) — If you have weekly rhythm reports enabled, we send limited usage data — your first name, streak count, sleep-target hours, recovery ratings, and completion percentages — to generate your personalized weekly summary. We do not send your email, location, or contact information to this service. privacy policy
Base44 — Our hosting and database platform, where your profile and account data are stored. privacy policy
6. Data Storage & Security
Your profile and account data are stored on Base44's servers. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You can view, edit, or delete your data at any time in the app's Settings, and you can delete your entire account.
European (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) residents have additional rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and the right to know how it is used. To exercise these rights, use the controls in Settings or contact us at the email below.
8. Children
Lumiray is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email or through an in-app notice.
